The Friends Birthday Lunch :D

After having an amazing night,here I was with my best Girls for an amazing lunch yet again!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,KIRAN :)

Woke up super late,rushed home and rushed back to my friends home. Somehow I'm ALWAYS running late,and also just like everyone of us,I'm always confused about what to wear! I had about 10 mins to decide what to wear,but I took 20 (LATE).

So after trying 3 outfits,I decided to wear this summer dress which I had picked from forever 21 (duh!!) before I went to Goa this month. I wanted to keep it casual and summery for a Sunday   lunch! With these 2 necklaces that I picked from the streets of Goa,and the flats from Bandra which I am in love with,I managed to feel statisfied and comfy AF!!

We had a fun time at Hoppipola,Khar where we were on an UNO war which I lost like a boss :P

FROM EVENING TO NIGHT

Since i have been super busy these days because of this internship I've been doing as a designer,this vacation, I usually come up with outfits which can be worn throughout the day and styled as per the place, event and time. Basically time saving. And I am sure being busy is the story of most of our lives,weather we're studying interning or working. (Or doing nothing :P )

So this is one of my dresses I bought a couple of months ago from the 'Deepika Padukone's collection for Van huesen,India'. Their dresses are sooooo classy and elegant, and the fit is perfect for almost all body types. This checks shirt dress,which I wore over the red dress while carrying the bag pack,both(shirt dress and bag) from forever 21 with the perfect match of flats which are from max fashion.

I would recommend this outfit for an evening out.

Getting rid of everything except the red dress of course,I put on these brown heels which I carried in my bag,put the rest back in and was ready for a dinner night with my friends!

TRUE BLUEEEE

Today, I woke up to a luminous day, feeling super peppy even though I wasn't completely cured from the viral I caught due to the weather change.

Got out of the bed and quickly got ready and rushed to check out my workplace where I am going to be doing an internship after a week. Looking forward to that!!!!

After an hour of getting done with the work, I went for a lunch date followed by a movie for which I decided to wear this blue skirt which I picked up from Bandra,hill road. And paired it up with this beautiful top from Zara. The skirt is soo good,kept me cool in the heat and warm at the cinemas. LOL

Also, I am very fond of the footwear from max,India. I always manage to get the perfect fit and colour. 

Next, I accessorised myself with this turquoise blue coloured ring, these earrings which has two shades of blue, and a beaded bracelet which I wore as an arm cuff, 1. Because it's super loose on my wrist 2.because I like it better this way.

The Abrupt Monsoon Outfit

Rain Rain, don't go away! Finally it feels good to experience good weather. It's cool,breezy and NOT HOT! I wish Bombay could stay this way.

Since the rains have hit Bombay and many other places,we might not be very prepared with the outfits! 

So the first day of rains,I pulled my dungaree out and styled it with this pink bralette top from forever 21 which is simply chic (I love it!!) and a pair of rubber ballet flats which are pink again,and were bought much before this season!

For a coffee or a day out with your friend, this outfit is just right according to me, and also could also be worn with a pullover.

Some of us prefer going out with short bottoms in the rains. Which is obviously a good idea. 

I also think bellies is a great idea to avoid the splashing of all that sludge on the back of your legs!

Since the weather has been getting pretty cool now, we should make use of some of our winter outfits to keep us warm and stylish!

What's in Vogue? June'15

So here's a post about what I found most interesting in the Vogue June 2015 issue. And ofcourse its all about style and my view on it. 

                   GLADIATORS

    Under "Best buys this month", Knee High Gladiators and Calf high gladiators have totally made some room in every girls closet. Not only flats but the heels,too,look really chic.

Personally I think,flats and wedge gladiators are the most comfy and stylish,specially for a day wear.

                     FRINGE!!!

So, who has not been obsessed with fringe since the beginning of this year?

I'm sure there are not many.

From fringe bags to shoes,clothing and accessories , most of us are totally in love. This fringe skirt by Sonia Rykiel caught my eye. It's beautiful. 

                        PARKAS

Functional Parkas are leading the charge for out wear this season, says Vogue.

Maybe not in the Mumbai Summer season,but for winters or rainy season,they rock our closets.

       SHADES OF MILITARY GREEN

Since I am a little into dull colours,Military green has been one of my top favourites,for every season.

This maxi dress by Monica Dogra, beauty!

Army print parkas and sandles would look really well if styled well.

The rest,is really really smart too.

These sandles by Clarks look really nice and will look perfect for the afternoons and even for the beach!

                            NUDE

Vogue shows us how nude with red and nude with Green are in trend this season. All shades of red and green go equally well with the nude.

Love how the mixing of prints and fringe has happened here.
